Kyle is the proud father of his three children, Ridley, Remington and Rhett.
Kyle Wailes is the Chief Financial Officer of Intermedix.
In his current role, Kyle oversees all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting functions and guides corporate strategic direction, including M&A evaluation and operational improvement. He assumed this role in March of 2017. Kyle has more than 10 years of experience in the health care industry with a focus on physician practice innovation and investment.
Kyle began his professional career in 2006 as a financial analyst in the healthcare investment banking division at Thomas Weisel Partners in New York City. Kyle was a member of the healthcare investment banking team.
In 2008, Kyle became an associate at Altaris Capital Partners in New York City. Kyle was a key member of the healthcare private equity team managing more than $800 million in assets.
Before joining Intermedix, Kyle served as a key member in the healthcare investment banking division at Citigroup in New York. During his time at Citigroup, Kyle focused on healthcare services, HCIT and medical device companies.
Kyle joined Intermedix as the vice president of business strategy, development and analytics. In this role, Kyle was in charge of strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions for Intermedix. After 18 months in that position, Kyle led the efforts to start our office based physician services division and was then promoted to his previous role as executive vice president of physician services.
Currently Kyle is a board member of the Youth Life Learning Center, a non-profit organization that supports the educational, moral and social development of children through quality after-school academic enrichment programs.
Kyle obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Neuroscience at Brown University and his master’s degree in business administration at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Aside from his professional career, Kyle was an indoor professional lacrosse player. He was the fifth overall pick by the Calgary Roughnecks during the first round of the NLL Entry Draft. He was later acquired by the Philadelphia Wins from the Roughnecks.
In addition to being a professional lacrosse player, Kyle played hockey in the junior Ontario Hockey League with the Barrie Colts and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and children and competing in triathlons.
