FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Intermedix Corporation announced Wednesday that TripTix has received Version 3 Collect Data Certification for Agency Compliant Software from the National Emergency Medical Services Information System or NEMSIS.
NEMSIS is the national project to standardize data collection and reporting for Emergency Medical Services agencies.
Obtaining NEMSIS certification is a rigorous process that requires significant time and resources to complete. The goal of the NEMSIS Version 3 Collect Data Certification is to enhance reporting, care measurement and data exchange between EMS providers and hospitals.
“We are proud to provide our clients with the highest standards of data reporting and collection,” said Joel Portice, CEO of Intermedix. “The latest version of our ePCR was developed in collaboration with EMS responders to provide an intuitive web and mobile interface for medics. The NEMSIS v3 Collect Data Certification is a testament of our efforts to facilitate real-time collection of information in the field that is vital to care coordination and health outcomes.”
TripTix is an electronic patient care record tool used by EMS and first responder agencies. The solution allows first responders to quickly and securely complete patient incident reports required for provider records, medical billing and state reporting programs. The latest version of the solution features a completely updated user-interface, optimized for field use.
A new rules engine in TripTix, designed specifically to meet the new NEMSIS standards, allows EMS agencies to simply configure and represent their data collection policies. Data captured in the solution can be accessed by EMS administrators to create, view and analyze reports. The capability presents compelling benefits for performance benchmarking and quality initiatives.
