On Thursday, November 9 Intermedix CEO Joel Portice was recognized as one of Nashville’s Most Admired CEOs by the Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) during an awards ceremony at the Omni Hotel. This year’s finalists consisted of leading individuals from Middle Tennessee that represented non-profit, institution, private and public organizations. Portice received his award in the 501+ employees category.
The winners were ultimately chosen through a rigorous process that involved voting from both the public and their peers. The NBJ took submissions from the public for months, where they received more than 200 nominations. The nominees were then grouped into their respective categories and fellow nominees voted on one another during a closed voting process. This method was developed to see what leaders are truly most admired by their peers.
All of this year’s winners are listed on the NBJ’s article, “Meet our 2017 Most Admired CEOs and Their Companies.”
